BARE SPACE
BARE SPACE, my new studio, is a minimal space designed for simplicity and focus. Nestled in DUMBO, Brooklyn, it sits high above the Manhattan Bridge with unobstructed east-facing views, allowing morning light to pour in without interruption and soft glowing light the rest of the day. The space is open and uncluttered, free from distractions, letting light and shadow take center stage.
Natural light is the heart of my work, and this studio provides it in its purest form. The way it moves throughout the day, shifting in tone and intensity, gives each session a unique and organic quality. There are no artificial setups—just the model, the light, and the quiet interplay of form and texture. The simplicity of the space allows for an uninterrupted connection to the subject, where subtle movements and small adjustments transform into something timeless.
This studio is more than just a place to work—it’s the perfect environment to create. The energy is calm, the atmosphere is reflective, and every element is intentional. It is a space where models can feel at ease, where the process is free-flowing, and where art unfolds naturally. Whether capturing the contrast between skin and fabric, the sculptural qualities of the human form, or the depth within a fleeting moment, this studio provides the foundation for everything I create.
